The Spokane Law Enforcement Museum is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to support the museum projects.  No money is used for personnel costs; volunteers of all ages are solicited for this worthy cause of preserving the history of our local law enforcement.

Active Member             $35 per year

Membership and donations collected will support the following projects that are currently underway:

·         Spokane Police Department History Book to be published in 2007

·         Spokane Police Department Personnel Yearbook to be published in 2007

·         Hallways of History, newly established in the hallways of the Public Safety Building, showcases photos from the historical collection acquired through the historical book committee.  A recent donation will enable this collection to expand to include the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department. 

·         Spokane Law Enforcement Museum has acquired an extensive collection of artifacts, historical photos, and memorabilia.  Unfortunately, the collection is housed in a private home with only a small sample of items displayed in the Public Safety Building.  Because this collection deserves to be displayed for the public, the goal of the organization is to secure a site worthy of the collection.

A tremendous amount of energy and synergy is captured in the preservation of the history of our local law enforcement.  The committees are actively soliciting people who have an interest in this effort.  If you are interested in assisting with this project, have items or would choose to give a “Specific Bequest” through your will and estate to the Spokane Law Enforcement Museum organization, or would simply like to see this amazing collection, you may contact Glen L.
